Mt. Adams Center Alumni Page
Welcome Home!
What is the Mt. Adams Center Alumni Page?
It us for those of us who still have in our hearts the memory of our unique community in the Cascade Mountain Range, beneath Mount Adams. We treasure this wilderness region surrounded by a spectacular landscape of forests, rivers, waterfalls, and mountains. We came together to preserve and protect the environment as AmeriCorps volunteers, and in doing so we grew to be who we are today. This website is here so that we can keep the community we have built alive, and branch out to other past MAC members who have similar stories to share.

The center has served as the hub for volunteerism in the Mid-Columbia region for over twelve years. Today we are proud to further that tradition by providing our alumni with outdoor adventures that give back through service. Whether you are in the area or coming back from a distant home, we want to share with you the spectacular wonders of our wild lands along with fun, learning, and excitement.

Wondering when the Urban Iditarod is again, or what the word is with Frisbee Golf Masters, or are you looking for old teammates and friends from the MAC. This is an Alumni Group Page that puts us back in touch; with each other, and with that side of us that comes out when only we get together. Also take part in the "Living More Lightly Profile" that gives you the chance to check yourself with living a life that is sustainable and kind to the earth. For those of you who have an event idea to share with Alumni you can post it yourself on the Alumni My Space account. For more info on our MySpace account or the "Living More Lightly Profile" click here.
