SUPPORT MT. ADAMS CENTER PROGRAMS
The Mt. Adams Center’s mission is to provide quality educational experiences for people of all ages and to engage in environmental restoration projects. Your support will allow us to continue these critical activities.
Each year the Mt. Adams Center (MAC) staff and AmeriCorps volunteers manage to accomplish some impressive feats on a shoe-string budget:
- Deliver critical environmental education programming to over 1,000 students in Oregon and Washington.
- Repair hundreds of miles of hiking/biking/horse trails in the national forests of Oregon and Washington.
- Restore hundreds of acres of critical wildlife habitat, including the riparian corridors that protect native salmon runs.
Still, we could (and need to) do so much more with additional support. Your gift of:
- $25/month allows one low-income student to attend a week-long summer camp.
- $50/month supports scholarships that allow low-income high school students to participate in MAC’s Summer Mountain Journey courses.
- $75/month sponsors a classroom of students for a day of science exploration.
