Thank you for your interest in volunteering on the Pacific Crest Trail! We look forward to working with you.

The Sign Up Process 

1. First, please view our current projects then, use our contact us form to reach Emily Beck(or call her at 916-349-2109 ex22) to let her know which project interests you and to check if there's still availability.

 

2. Once Emily has emailed you or called you back, and you know which project you'll be joining, please download and print the following documents.

 

Note: These documents are in PDF format (Download Adobe Acrobat for free).

 

o Volunteer Profile
o Volunteer Info for Crew Leader 
o What to Bring / Gear List (download this one to use for reference)

3. Read, complete and mail the two Volunteer documents to:
(Currently, our sign up process is through the mail only.)

4. Once we've received your completed documents, we'll contact you via email or phone to confirm your project details.

Participation in our volunteer projects is free! Though not a requirement, we do highly encourage all of our volunteers to become members of the Pacific Crest Trail Association. You can click here to join PCTA.
