FIELD TEAM PROGRAM

A life changing season of service in
the mountains of the Pacific Northwest!

For over 15 years the Mt. Adams Center has earned a reputation for its stand out residential based field team program that serves in the mountains of Washington, Oregon and California. Each year 29 Field Team Members join several field teams dedicated to building and maintaining trails, protecting communities from wild fires or restoring natural habitat.

Field Team Members spend the summer outside working and living in the some of the most beautiful locations in the Pacific Northwest. Most of the teams serve with the U.S. Forest Service on trail projects that require long days of hiking, heavy lifting and teamwork. The strenuous work, incredible scenery and team camaraderie builds muscle and spirit.

Members live together in various accommodations: MAC bunkhouses, Forest Service cabins and/or a tent based spike camp. They share the responsibilities of communal living, including meal preparation, cleaning and other chores. Above all, they learn how to work together to accomplish tasks and address challenges.

Throughout the season, members develop new skills, establish lifelong friendships, explore wild places and gain a new perspective on their lives. They leave the program with a higher sense of purpose, a better appreciation for the natural world and a proven ability to make a positive impact in the world.

If you’re physically fit, people oriented and passionate about being outside, the Field Team Program is your ticket to a life changing experience.
